Two memorandums of understanding were penned between Iraq and Qatar on areas of culture, science, and education.
It comes as discussions were held between Iraq’s Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and top figures from Qatar on means to strengthen bilateral relations.
Iraq is looking to expand its cooperation with Qatar through the trip the prime minister made to the GCC nations.
Abdul Mahdi highlighted “Iraq’s keenness to build cooperative relations with Qatar in various fields, especially in the economy, construction, investment, and services.”
