Seventy projects worth SR26 billion ($6.93 billion) will be implemented in the next 10 years as part of a national plan for traffic safety approved recently by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, according to Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ali, secretary general of traffic safety committee. He said the projects would reduce the death rate of traffic accidents in the Kingdom.
