Najaf Provincial Council announced the increase in investment licenses which reached to 207 with the amount of $7 billion.
Sahar al-Fatlawi, chairman of the Provincial Investment Commission, told Aswat al-Iraq that the number of licenses reached to 207 with the amount of $7 billion.
She added that Najaf province granted the greatest number of licenses due to the security in its area, in addition to the facilities granted to the investors.
Najaf grants investment multiple one-year visas directly at its airport.
Najaf, center of the province, lies 160 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
