The Real Estate Development Fund ( REDF ) issued housing loans worth SR 2.9 billion to the citizens of Baha Region resulting in the construction of 12,204 new homes.
Khalid bin Siraj Al-Zahrani, manager of the REDF branch in the region, said 10,197 people living in the area benefited from the loans.
He said the REDF has contributed enormously to the expansion of towns and communities and the creation of modern and healthy housing units in the region.
He emphasized the fact that REDF will continue issuing loans to citizens who are on the waiting list. The REDF director general recently approved housing loans for the 2012-13 fiscal year.
Loans totaling SR 5.3 billion are allocated for the construction of 12,830 housing units in provinces around the Kingdom which are covered by the REDF .
