Oman’s Tender Board has approved various tenders and supplementary works supporting several national development projects, with a total value of approximately $562 million (OMR 216.38 million). The contracts were awarded during the board’s fourth meeting of the year, led by Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Board.
Among the notable projects, the dualization of the Izki-Nizwa road, connecting South Qarut, Birkat Al Mauz, and Farq, was awarded at $121.7 million (OMR 46.87 million). Another major project, the dualization of the Raysut-Al Mughsail road in Dhofar Governorate, was valued at $90.6 million (OMR 34.84 million). Additionally, the Sooq Al Mawarid project in Sinaw, estimated at $25.2 million, aims to establish a specialized livestock market, benefiting Oman’s various regions.
