The highly anticipated Project Oman 2024, the 3rd International Construction Technology, Infrastructure, and Building Materials Exhibition and Conference, officially opened its doors at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on 21 October 2024, drawing industry professionals and visitors from around the world. Inaugurated by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Adham bin Turki Al Said, this year’s event marked a significant milestone for Oman’s construction and infrastructure sectors.
The exhibition featured over 200 exhibitors from 10 countries, including Austria, China, Egypt, India, Iran, South Korea, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Attendees had the unique chance to explore a wide range of innovative products and solutions shaping the future of construction in the region.
Among the standout participants were 120 prominent Chinese companies, recognized as leaders in the global construction market. Their presence underscored the importance of international collaboration and provided Omani businesses with opportunities to establish valuable partnerships. The China Pavilion was organized by LinkExpo, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Linyi Council, and CCPIT Shandong.
The event was supported by key institutions like the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology and the Oman Society of Engineers. Additionally, various sponsors, including Title Sponsor Jindal Shadeed and Gold Sponsors Oman Cement Company, Intecs, ZBOM, and Sarooj, played a crucial role in the event’s success, reflecting their commitment to advancing Oman’s construction industry.
Throughout the event, which ran until October 23, 2024, attendees engaged in insightful discussions, shared expertise, and built meaningful connections. The exhibition provided an essential venue for stakeholders—investors, manufacturers, and contractors—to explore new business opportunities and strengthen trade relations.
