The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Romania hit 3.6 billion dollars from 2013 to 2017 while the deficit in trade balance declined from $549.5 million in 2013 to $340.2 million last year, according to the Trade Representation Authority on Monday.
Egyptian exports to Romania reached 480 million dollars in five years while imports were estimated at 3.16 billion dollars, Mahmoud Amin, trade attache at the authority, said.
Egypt's exports to Romania include fertilizers, medicines, cables, wires, vegetables, fruit and agricultural crops.
