Hajj Art Stone is a Lebanese manufacturing company established in 1985 by Robert Hajj. The company is specialized in manufacturing stone and cladding mainly 3d and Terrazzo stones. Hajj Art stones are considered handmade artifacts because they are made of natural elements, colored by highly qualified technicians and molded by talented craftsmen. Projects that have used Hajj Art stone products include Kidzmondo, Tilal Faqra, Les Dunnes De Faqra, the Armenian Patriarchy, Bellevue Medical Hospital, the 3S Cottage and Oakridge.
Hajj Art Stone is one of the devoted exhibitors at Project Lebanon since 2008.
Ifpinfo had the following interview with Georges Hage, Hajj Art’s Managing Director.
Q. When was your company established?
A. 1985.
Q. What are the development stages that your company went through?
A. The company was first established in 1985, by Mr. Robert Hajj (my father) as a hobby he used to enjoy. In 2007, we decided to expand and build a state of the art factory that can manufacture and serve any order we may take. In 2010, GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforcement Cement) was introduced to the market, and in 2014, the new Terrazzo agglomerate factory made its debut.
Q. A success story was written since the inception of your company, what was your vision that led to achievements and success?
A. We use complete honesty, accurate delivery timing, and ensure customer satisfaction no matter what. Moreover, we expand based on product quality.
Q. What can you say about the principles and values that guided the company to prosperity and sustainable success?
A. We made slow but sure steps along the way.
Q. What are the main products/services you are recognized for? What makes you so good at what you do?
A. We have three factories, the veneer stone (also known as the manufactured stone or artificial stone), the Terrazzo Stone, and the GFRC. We are committed to customer satisfaction and quality control.
Q. What are the major areas of the company’s specialization? Are there other fields you would like to expand into?
A. Our specialty is, and has been over the years, the manufacture stone business. At a later stage, we might expand into the precast concrete.
Q. Is there a certain strategy you are using to achieve your goals for the company?
A. We mainly invest a lot of time on Research and Development.
Q. What are major accomplishments you think the company has achieved that is worth noting?
A. In 2007, 2 individuals formed the whole company. Today, we are over 100 people working together.
Q. What can we expect from the company in the near future?
A. Let’s leave it as a surprise.
Q. What plans in the pipeline can affect future development?
A. Political Stability.
Q. Have you ever participated in an exhibition or any event organized by IFP Group?
A. Sure, we have been participating in Project Lebanon since 2008

A. Good events, in terms of professionalism.
Q. Do you have any suggestions for improving the show?
A. A solution should be found for the parking.
