United Development Company (UDC) has awarded a contract to carry out piling works at Al Mutahidah Towers in Viva Bahriya at The Pearl.
The master developer of The Pearl-Qatar announced awarding the piling contract to an Indian company, Navayuga Engineering.
The contract includes the execution of approximately 917 piles along with the excavation and backfilling works, in preparation for the next construction phase.
The piling works are anticipated to take 150 days, ending in January 2017, after which the construction of the main structure will commence, reported The Peninsula.
Located at the beachfront precinct of Viva Bahriya at The Pearl-Qatar, the 450-apartment project is projected to be complete in Q4 2019.
Al Mutahidah Towers project offers various accommodation configurations, including studios and luxury apartments as well as penthouses and retail stores.
The towers will also have a fully-equipped gymnasium, swimming pools, multipurpose halls, plenty parking spaces, and a range of other upscale services and recreational amenities.
