Project Egypt is part of the ambitious expansion plan that IFP has developed for the Egyptian market and it follows the company’s first initiative, the Food Africa 2015 trade show that was held between 6 and 9 May 2015 hosting 241 exhibitors from 17 countries.
The Egyptian construction sector is considered one of the most promising and viable markets in the region, mainly after the "Egypt Economic Summit", held in March 2015, which concluded by announcing a number of major projects in the fields of construction, modernization of the infrastructure and real estate development. The Suez Canal expansion plan and the $45 billion "New Capital" city project near Cairo, the construction of one million new homes ($37 billion) are few examples of the mega projects to be implemented in Egypt with the start of the flow of investments that were approved during the "Egypt Economic Summit" within the various vital sectors with a total value of over $100 billion.
Egypt offers a lot of promising opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors and companies seeking new markets to expand their operations and increase their sales volume, pointing out that the Egyptian construction sector is considered one of the largest economic sectors in the country contributing by up to 15% of the GDP.
Project Egypt 2016 is set to become an unprecedented event within the exhibition industry in Egypt, especially in terms of size, organization and participation.
