The 12th edition of Project Qatar will be held for the second consecutive year at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) from today.
The 4-day Project Qatar 2015 will feature 1130 exhibitors representing more than 2000 companies and brands, and 21 national pavilions from 40 countries.
Project Qatar has established itself as the most important exhibition for highlighting the latest products and service offering for Qatar’s rapidly expanding construction industry and the destination of choice for regional and international industry professionals.
“We are pleased to be hosting this prestigious event for the second year. Project Qatar attracts construction industry professionals from the world over, contributing to Qatar’s booming construction industry, a vital contributor to our economy,” said QNCC general manager Ken Jamieson. “Our aim at QNCC is to go beyond convention and offer services tailored to each individual event.”
In addition to Project Qatar 2015, two concurrent events — Qatar Stone Tech 2015 and Heavy Max 2015 — will take place at QNCC.
Speaking of the Centre’s capacity for concurrent events Jamieson said: “Venue of this size is able to accommodate complementary events ensuring a one stop shop for industry professionals. Our customer is at the core of our business and having the ability to add value by providing top of the range services that enable a variety of activities and concurrent shows, which will increase the benefits and opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike, is what drives our business.”
Project Qatar general manager George Ayache said: “We are happy to organize Project Qatar at the QNCC for the second consecutive year. Given its considerable size and its state-of-the-art technologies, QNCC competes with international venues and provides a superior experience for our participants and attendees. The facilities and size of the venue will allow us to, once again, host a world-class edition of Project Qatar, including the exhibition, our new PQ Workshop Series and the PQ Business Intelligence Series. The Show, which takes place from May 4–7, will occupy seven halls of QNCC, in addition to an outside area, where the heavy machinery will be displayed, totaling 41,500 square meters of exhibition space. Project Qatar 2015 will feature 1130 exhibitors representing 2000+ companies and brands, and 21 national pavilions from 40 countries.”
QNCC has an exhibition area of over 40,000 square meters, and a main conference hall which can accommodate up to 4,000 people. In addition, the center’s theater can accommodate 2,300.
