In commemoration of the silver jubilee celebrations of the Saudi Build 2013 — the 25th international construction technology and building materials exhibition — the exhibitors and media persons were honored at a reception held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh on Tuesday 5 November.
More than 850 companies from 35 countries exhibited their products and services at the show, which was a big draw this year.
Organized by the Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC) to propel sustainable development, Saudi Build 2013 is in its silver anniversary showcasing industry-specific advanced services and solutions.
Participating countries include Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, the UAE, the UK and the United States.
The expo covers 20,000 sqm of space displaying a wide gamut of the latest and top-rated offerings for the construction industry.
Saudi Build remains the only construction trade show in Saudi Arabia accredited by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
Prince Saud Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, chairman of REC, hosted a reception in honor of the participants and presented them with mementos to express his appreciation on behalf of his company.
Presenting an overview of Saudi Build’s history, the prince highlighted its growth and success toward the development of the local construction market.
With the consistent management of REC, Saudi Build has reached a milestone with quarter of a century of continuous success and has built a significant reputation as one of the foremost construction shows in the region, he said.
Saudi Build has been hailed as the region’s foremost construction show, and has firmly established itself as the focal point for the country’s growing and diversifying construction market. It is the only construction trade show in Saudi Arabia accredited by UFI, which is granted only to top-notch professional events managed by organizers with proven track records in international exhibitions.
