With a whopping 22% growth in space and number of exhibitors over the 2011 edition, Iraq Medicare 2012 remains the largest international healthcare exhibition in Iraq, raising the bar ever higher. The event took place from 29 to 31 May 2012 at the Erbil International Fair Grounds, under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
In its 3rd edition, Iraq Medicare featured 150 exhibitors, representing more than 300 top brands. Exhibitors at the show had a plethora of business opportunities to connect and network with decision makers and top healthcare executives as well as physicians, hospital owners, managers, and Ministry officials.
As the most comprehensive medical exhibition in Iraq, Iraq Medicare 2012 tackled the rapidly-growing trend of seeking international medical attention, a service typically popular amongst the Iraqi population. Many hospitals and healthcare establishments from Jordan, India, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey signed technical cooperation and patient exchange programs with local doctors and clinics. 8,769 professionals visited Iraq Medicare in 2012.
As for the 2013 edition, it will be held at the Erbil International Fair Grounds from 27 to 29 May 2013. The exhibition will cover all fields of medical care including ophthalmology, dentistry and medical treatment services offered by hospitals outside Iraq.
