Qatar Chamber (QC), in partnership with Qatarexpoonline.com, has launched an online platform for the QC-member companies to showcase Qatari businesses to the global audience.
The announcement was made during a joint press conference held at the QC.
QatarExpoOnline.com is part of ExpoOnline.com Global Network, the pioneer in international on-line exhibitions and a leading source of business information and trade support services on global, regional and national industry sectors that monitor international trends and domestics markets — all in a single, easily accessible and friendly virtual environment, interlinked with nearly 200 national business portals, covering practically all the world.
“With a competitive annual fee, QatarExpoonline.com will offer an ideal alternative to conventional advertising for local companies. At the same time, without additional cost, participating companies are promoted in a year-round permanent exhibition. Each company is listed in an industry-specific category and sub-category within its respective country, making each company easy to find by potential business partners. Apart from country-wide exposure, each national expo portal is interlinked with the entire global network,” said Remy Rohani, Director General of QC, after the signing ceremony.
“With millions of trade online visitors per week, the Qatari companies will have the opportunity to promote their company internationally through QatarExpoonline.com. The site is the ideal vehicle that makes any company available to new customers and investors from around the world. Only the companies registered with the QC will be allowed to utilize this facility,” said Saleh Al Sharqi, Deputy Director General of QC.
“ExpoOnline is a leading source of business information and trade support services on global, regional and national industry sectors, including international trends and domestic markets interlinked with more than 200 m national portals,” said Mohammed Abdulla Al Obaidly, Gulf Expo Online, Chief Executive Officer.
The facility will help enable companies to promote their products or services internationally. The online exhibitions are free to access from all over the world and are open 24/7 throughout the year, within over 50 industry specific sectors and categories, he said.
Andreas Kaisis, Executive Chairman of IMC Business Global PLC, said: “ExpoOnline is an innovative online business-to-business service that leverages the power, technology and reach of the Internet to deliver simple, valuable and cost-effective marketing and information.”
ExpoOnline virtually recreates the experience of attending any world-class physical exhibition, offering organizations the opportunity to exhibit their products and services clustered by country and product category. Businesses can thus promote their products and services to millions of online trade visitors, greatly increasing their exposure and reaching new markets worldwide, said Andreas.
