In order to implement its expansion strategy outside of Lebanon, Banque Libano-Francaise (BLF) announced the opening of its first branch in Iraq, after launching its recent branch in Lagos, Nigeria.
The new branch is located in Baghdad and started operating on the 1st of November 2012. According to BLF, the presence in Iraq through this new branch will keep the relationship with the Lebanese abroad closer as well as offering banking services in a growing and dynamic market that has been for a long time a key destination for the Lebanese exports and investments.
