Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu ( RCJY ) Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan has signed three contracts worth SR 160 million for the implementation of a number of projects in Yanbu and Jubail industrial cities.
The first contract includes procurement of supervisors, manpower and equipment required to carry out power, telecommunications, water, and sewage networks in Yanbu Industrial City in addition to the construction of roads and have them connected to the existing road networks. The second contract is related to the expansion of a package of utility services in a number of locations within the residential areas of Yanbu Industrial City.
The third contract is concerned with the development of a TV circuit in the residential area of Jubail Industrial City to raise efficiency of the TV cable system that can provide analogue and digital channels as well as data services. The scope of work includes provision of all engineering, design and management works, equipment, manpower, test and experimental tools, technical and supervisory services, and approval of all executive plans.
Last month, the RCJY chief signed a contract worth SR 175.5 million for the construction of support buildings at Jubail Industrial College.
Earlier in the month, he signed other contracts worth SR 125.87 million for a series of infrastructure works in Jubail and Yanbu cities.
