Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) has upgraded the coverage of 1,500 locations with the latest 4G LTE services that serves 38 cities across the Kingdom, in line with its efforts to achieve 65 percent of the residential area in the country before the end of 2012.
STC said 'the company will continue to further affirm its leadership by offering the first of its kind services and technologies for 4G network. Taking into consideration that STC was the first operator to adapt 4G technologies and has offered it to its customers.'
STCs leadership continues through the development of their various network, and in line with its strategy to upgrade the customers experience with the latest technologies, whether it was from 2G to 3G up to Broadband, then to +HSPA till the latest 4G LTE technology which is considered one of the latest communication technologies in the world.
It offers high Internet speed of 100 Mbps for downloading data that can reach up to 1000Mbps, making it a revolution in itself, according to a press release.
