Ciment de Sibline is the third largest producer of clinker and cement in the Republic of Lebanon with a nominal capacity of 1,250,000 tons / year Cement. The Company’s main facilities are located in Sibline, Southern Lebanon and it maintains branch offices in Beirut. Besides cement, Sibline produces related products such as ready-mix and adhesives.
“It’s been a very good year for us,” said Philippe Dame, the Chief Operating Officer of Sibline Building materials. “It’s true that the construction sector is going through a slowdown phase, but our business was not affected by the recessionary mood in the country and we are very enthusiastic about the future,” he added.
“We are here at Project Lebanon this year to launch two business lines and our new logo,” noted Dame. “The company is undergoing through a rebranding process and in our opinion Project Lebanon was the best means for showing our new image and new product lines,” he added.
“The visitor turnout is good. We host different types of visitors including professionals and many engineering and architecture students which is fine. We are satisfied with the show,” concluded Dame.
