28 French companies are exhibiting at Project Lebanon 2014. “The Pavilion is organized by UBIFRANCE – The French Agency for the International Development of Companies,” said Henri Castores Director of UBIFRANCE in Beirut.
UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development, comes under the aegis of France’s Ministry for the Economy, Finance & Industry. UBIFRANCE promotes technologies, products, services and know-how from France, and puts French-based professionals in contact with their international counterparts.
In this context, the Director of UBIFRANCE in Beirut, Henri Castores, explained that “Building on the success witnessed each year since 2008, the UBIFRANCE office in Beirut is organizing the French Pavilion in Project Lebanon 2014 to highlight the capabilities of the French SMEs, SMIs and groups of international renown with a unique and innovative know-how in the fields of engineering, building and construction.” “60% of the participating companies come from France while the rest are French companies already established in Lebanon,” noted Castores. “The participation of the French Pavilion demonstrates again this year the interest of French companies in Lebanon and the Lebanese building and construction sector,” he added.
“We believe that Lebanon remains a vibrant construction market but more than that, it’s a launchpad for French companies to move from Lebanon to the regional markets of the Levant and to many African countries where Lebanese have strong business presence,” underlined Castores.
“The feedback of Project Lebanon this year is great,” noted Castores. “All participating companies express their enthusiasm of finding business opportunities in Lebanon and they plan to come again next year for Project Lebanon 2015.”
