LightingTech Qatar is the launch event for the Project Qatar Conferences Series. On the first day of the conference Al Waseeta talked about their new joint ventures to manufacture LED technology in Qatar. Qatar Project Management discussed different lighting technologies related to Lusail City Project. KEO International Consultants addressed the latest sustainable approach to lighting design. Theuer Eurolighting Consultancy Lighting Design highlighted the benefits of adopting carefully designed hybrid solutions combining LED and non LED lamps. Klassen Lighting Design featured a presentation about developing cost efficient, visually appealing and energy saving spaces. Alabbar Energy & Sustainability Group (AESG) and Arab Engineering Bureau showcased different case studies about energy efficient lighting strategies.
On the second day of the conference, Osram, Light Concept, Sutton Vane Associates, and Hoare Lea Lighting talked about innovative lighting projects. Parsons Brinckerhoff, Place Dynamix, Amey, and EPOS Design addressed street lighting challenges and opportunities. Mouchel Middle East and Africa discussed solar powered lighting and the Institution of Lighting Professionals highlighted the industry standards and regulations.
