China’s General Administration of Customs said the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and China hit $4.31 billion from January to April this year; a 3.2 percent rise on an annual basis.
In a statement on Monday, the Chinese administration said Chinese exports to Egypt stood at $3.91 billion in the aforementioned period, recording a rise of 5.1 percent on annual basis, while China’s imports from Egypt reached $0.4 billion, decreasing by 11.9 percent.
The statement also noted that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached $1.13 billion in April.
