With the construction of mega developments across KSA and growth of population, the requirement for adequate car parks and parking facilities is increasing exponentially.
This demand for increased parking facilities requires careful urban master-planning and design. New technologies also offer opportunities for better management, optimization and revenue generation for building owners, community managers, local governments and other car park operators.
Smart Parking KSA will be held on 17-18 October 2016 at Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh, KSA. This seminar is organized by ACM in coordination with the local partner XS Conferences & Exhibitions, and will focus on exploring the design and construction considerations of car parks and parking facilities, as well as the new smart technologies which can lead to the optimization of these facilities for both the end-users and their operators.
A booming phase
In addition to the implementation and development of the infrastructure for about 8,000 parking lots in downtown Jeddah, Jeddah Municipality is still increasing the number of parking lots.
Makkah Municipality has built 3,000 smart parking spaces allowing citizens to reserve their parking space from home. The project has three phases and by the end of it there will be 8,400 parking spaces in the city.
King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Project for Development of Security Forces Medical Complexes, will have about 200,000m² of car parking.
Why take part in Smart Parking KSA seminar?
