The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has awarded a $20 million contract to Doha International for Infrastructure to design, renovate, and maintain heritage buildings at the Qatar Media Corporation complex in Wadi Al Sail. The contract, granted on 1 September 2024, covers major renovations for key structures such as the Main Old TV Building, the New Radio (AM) Building, and the Old Radio (FM) Building.
The tender was released on 1 January 2024, with a bid deadline of 18 February 2024. Construction is set to begin in early November 2024, with completion expected by the fourth quarter of 2026.
