The project will provide a complete infrastructure including a new road network, a sewerage network, traffic signals and street landscaping that will improve the quality of life for residents of Rawdat Legdeim / Bani Hajer and the neighbouring communities, and provide roads that will link the entire area and ultimately connect it with the adjacent Doha road network.
This is a new area that comprises of plots that have been granted recently to nationals. However, the project will provide comprehensive infrastructure for the residential units, educational institutions and businesses located in Rawdat Legdeim / Bani Hajer and the surrounding areas. The project will also ensure continuous provision of essential facilities such as water supply and sewage surface water drainage, transport, energy distribution networks and telecommunication facilities for the local community.

Upon completion, the project will provide residents with world class services and amenities such as walking and cycling lanes and car parks. Safety measures are always a priority, thus the project will also include pedestrians crossings with safety fencing and clear signage around the area, said Ashghal.
To be built on a 152-hectare plot, the construction works on the project will be divided into two phases. Phase one will include the layout of approximately 23 km of arterial and local roads with varying corridor widths ranging from 16 to 40 m.
