Construction works have already started to build the tallest hotel in Iran. Construction crews have already dug a hole in a hillside, about 240 feet deep. Experts say no commercial construction site in Iran has ever gone this deep
With 68 floors, embracing a built-up area of 400,000 square meters the biggest hotel of Iran with 700 rooms will be constructed by spending $700 million by the Paad Investing Company, which is an international consortium consisting of four Iranian, Turkish, German, and UAE companies.
This project will be implemented in conjunction with Tehran's municipality. The hotel will be equipped to four helicopter pads. In addition, building of some shopping centers and official complexes near this hotel has been considered in this project.
The hotel is being constructed on the crossing of Chamran Highway and Mola Sadra Street in Tehran.
