Demand for residential flats has increased during the third quarter of the year, reveals a survey. The demand has increased with new infrastructural projects coming up in different parts of the country, according to a survey conducted by Al Asmaq real estate.
The demand on furnished residential flats has increased by three percent and non-furnished flats by 1.7 percent, comparing to the same period of time last year.
There is also similar demand for luxury furnished residential units with demand for three bed room units rising by 3.5 percent. Demand for the same type of non-furnished flats has increased by 0.5 percent, according to the survey.
This situation is expected to continue on residential units in the fourth quarter of the year as well.
According to the report published yesterday in an Arabic daily, rent for a two room furnished residential flat will cost between QR6,500 and QR 7,500, and non-furnished one would cost between QR6,000 and QR 7,000. The survey has further found that rents of commercial flats have continued to be satiable in the third quarter of the year.
