On Tuesday 25 April, held at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut & Mount Lebanon (CCIAB) and organized by the Lebanese Italian Business Council (LEBITALIA), Dott. Federico Carli, President of Guido Carli Association for Culture, Economy and Politics (Associazione di cultura economica e politica Guido Carli) presented a very interesting and informative topic about “Strengthening the Relationships Between the Italian Business Community and The Business Communities of Lebanon And the Region.”
Dott. Carli was accompanied by Dott. Federico Bega, Head of the Strategic Areas of Promos – Special Agency for International Activities of the Milan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handcrafts and Agriculture. Also were present Ms. Francesca Zadro, the Director of ICE (Italian Trade Agency) to Lebanon, Dr. Fady Gemayel, President of the Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI) and members of LEBITALIA.
At the end of Dott. Carli’s presentation, the specially invited Lebanese businessmen, members of LebItalia had very interesting and stimulating question and answer session about the world economic situation, the growth potentials of Italy and Lebanon, in addition to discussing opportunities and enhancing cooperation between Lebanese and Italian entrepreneurs and businesses.
The presentation was followed by a reception at CCIAB, Club Room & Terrace.
Prior to the presentation, the executive board of LEBITALIA had a special meeting with the Italian guests. Headed by LebItalia’s President Mr. Raphael Debbane, the board welcomed Dott. Federico Carli and Dott. Federico Bega and discussed ways of creating opportunities for both Lebanese and Italian businesses in Italy, Lebanon and throughout the region.
