The State-owned utility Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that it has awarded a US$ 562.1 million maintenance contract to Siemens AG.
The 12- to 15-year contract is for the maintenance of six gas turbines and six power generators at its plant in Jebel Ali, as per company statements.
Established in 1992, DEWA is a Dubai-based utility company providing fossil fuel power generation and transmission, water desalination and distribution, district cooling services and manufacture of high voltage cables.
