President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Sunday Egypt has necessary potentials to be a gateway to all Japanese industries into different markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe as Egypt is linked with many world states by free trade agreements.
During his meeting with the head of Toyota Tsusho company Ichiro Kashitani, Sisi said Japan is a strategic partner for Egypt and that there are many available investment opportunities in Egypt nowadays in light of the several mega national projects Egypt is now carrying them out, including Suez Canal Corridor project.
Sisi talked about the measures taken to iron out hurdles facing investors, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
Kashitani briefed Sisi on the projects his company is planning to carry out in Egypt, saying more consultations with be held with the Egyptian side within the coming period over these projects.
