Chairman of the Egyptian side of the Egyptian-Tunisian Business Council Abdul Alim Nawara has said that a proposal had been made to launch a navigation line and a joint bank to increase exports between the two Arab countries.
Nawara said that the proposal will be considered during the coming meeting of the council, slated for April 20-23 in Cairo.
The council will also discuss means of promoting investments between the two countries and forming a panel to follow up the implementation of the recommendations, Nawara said at the council’s meeting on Wednesday.
A Tunisian delegation, made up of 50 businessmen and statesmen, will take part in the next month’s meeting, he noted.
