Egypt's state grain buyer GASC bought 535,000 tons of wheat in its international purchase tender, it said on Tuesday. Traders said GASC bought 235,000 tons of Russian wheat, 120,000 tons of Romanian wheat, 120,000 tons of French wheat, and 60,000 of Ukrainian.
Traders gave the following breakdown of the purchase: Romanian Cerealcom $197.89 + $11.40 freight = $209.29 Russian AOS $197.80 + $10.85 freight = $208.65 Russian Daewoo $198.85 + $11.24 freight = $210.09 Russian Alegrow $198.70 + $11.64 freight = $210.34 Romanian Cargill $200.50 + $11.25 freight = $211.75 French Cargill $197.00 + $14.12 freight = $211.12 Ukraine Daewoo $199.50 + $13.00 freight = $212.50 French Lecureur $199.00 + $14.12 freight = $213.12 Russian Glencore $198.75 + $12.90 freight = $211.65.
