The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will dispatch a delegation to Baghdad on Monday for talks over Iraq’s 2020 budget bill, said KRG representative to Baghdad.
Fars Mousa said that the delegation will meet with Iraqi Minister of Finance to resolve the remaining disputes over KRG’s share from the 2020’s budget.
“They are expected to sign a deal after the meeting,” Mousa pointed out.
Another Kurdish delegation visited Baghdad on Saturday where they met with Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi and discussed the oil and budget disputes.
Mousa previously described Saturday’s visit to Baghdad as “one of the best so far”, noting that Erbil and Baghdad are close to reaching a final agreement.
