Ezdan Holding will enter into a partnership with SAK Group to develop a state-owned land for Ezdan. A proposal to the effect was approved by Ezdan Holding general assembly in Doha. Dr Yousuf Ahmad al-Na'ma, board member, presided over the general assembly.
Ezdan Holdings Group CEO Ali Mohamed al-Obaidli said the company has vast tracts of lands in the country. Detailed plans to develop them are in progress, he said without giving specific details.
Many mega projects were completed so far this year by Ezdan Holding, he said. They included the opening of Ezdan Mall at Gharaffa and several housing complexes in Doha.
A case in point is the multibillion riyal North Compound that spreads over 115,000 sq m and features some 183 luxury villas and 170 apartments. It also contains a four-star hotel with 220 rooms in addition to Al Rayyan Towers, which includes some eight towers that provide as many as 914 residential apartments.
So far, Ezdan has released more than 10 residential villages in Al Wakrah and Al Wukir.
