The highly anticipated trade fairs Food Africa and pacprocess MEA 2024 will return this year with an expanded footprint to accommodate growing demand. The events will run from December 3 to 5 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in the food and packaging industries.
Larger Exhibition Space
To meet the surge in demand, Food Africa’s exhibition area will grow with the addition of a new hall, bringing the total to five halls covering 44,000 square meters—a 4,000 square meter increase. This expansion underscores the importance of the fairs as pivotal hubs for the MEA region’s food and packaging industries, attracting over 1,000 exhibitors from 35 countries.
Key Highlights
- Global Representation: The fairs will feature 14 country pavilions, with newcomers such as Slovakia, the Netherlands, Georgia, and the United States joining Food Africa. pacprocess MEA will host the largest German pavilion with 16 exhibitors and debut participants from Slovenia.
- Diverse Exhibition Areas: Food Africa will spotlight sectors such as beverages, frozen foods, organic products, fresh produce, seafood, and confectionery. Specialized sections like Dates Africa, Fresh Africa, and Seafood Africa will enhance the variety on offer.
- International Participation: Renowned companies like Multivac, Theegarten-Pactec, Hänsel Processing, and Wipotec will join pacprocess MEA, alongside first-time exhibitors like Leistritz Extrusionstechnik.
Support for SMEs and Hosted Buyers
Over 500 hosted buyers are expected, facilitating high-quality business connections. The fairs also focus on empowering SMEs and startups with dedicated platforms and business matchmaking opportunities.
