The Italian pavilion at Project Lebanon 2014 is organized by the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) with the support of the Italian Embassy in Lebanon. “ICE provides a multitude of different services to the exhibitors,” said Marina Giangrande, Director of the Italian Trade Commission-ICE.
This year the Italian Pavilion will host 14 exhibitors on a space of 144 square meters. “This is a significant and qualified presence of Italian companies, all of them approaching Lebanon for the first time,” noted Giangrande.
Italian exhibits cover a wide range of building technologies and services, construction equipment and machineries including: diesel and generating sets, metallurgical equipment, elevators and escalators as well as semi-finished and finished products such as doors & windows, curtains & shutters, pumps, parquet & flooring, marble & stone, plumbing & sanitary ware.
“The feedback of the show is great,” said Giangrande. “All Italian exhibitors are satisfied with visitor turnout and the quality of people visiting the stands. Yet, they are very satisfied with the opportunity of meeting with Syrian companies through Syria Businessmen Forum organized by IFP,” she confirmed.
