Greece set a target to expand its bilateral ties and cooperation with the Kurdistan Region, announced the Consul-General of the Hellenic Republic Efthymios Costopoulos.
This comes, according to the Greek envoy, after the renovation of a representative office in Erbil to Consulate-General by the end of last year.
The envoy emphasized: “I am very proud to open the consulate and be the first Consul-General of Greece in Erbil.”
Costopoulos added: “this was the decision that was taken because we believe our relations with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq are very important.”
