Italy works with Lebanon for a better environment and investment opportunities is the theme of a seminar organized by the Italian Embassy in Lebanon.
The seminar, “Green economy in Lebanon – Italian initiatives and opportunities” will be held on Tuesday 13th December 2016 at the Italian Embassy in Baabda—Presidential Palace Street.
The seminar will bring together government authorities, Lebanese businessmen in addition to Italian officials. This event constitutes a platform to discuss investment opportunities in Lebanon.
The seminar will start with the opening speech of HE Ambassador Massimo Marotti. “Green energy: opportunities for companies” will be presented by LCEC & the Italian Ministry of Environment. “Chouf’s Reserve Biomass power plant: producing energy and saving money” and “Cleaning the Kharayeb archeological site: green initiatives and tourism development” are case studies to be discussed during the event.
“Working for a greener industry: Italian cooperation and UNIDO” is considered a focal topic of the seminar.
At the end of the seminar attendee questions will be answered during a Q&A.
