Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani recently held a meeting with Diwaniyah Governor Abbas Shaeel Al-Zamili and Provincial Council Head Mohammed Shukheir Farhoud to address the province’s administrative and service needs.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister approved the allocation of necessary funds to advance rehabilitation efforts in 42 neighborhoods across the province.
Two major infrastructure projects were prioritized for immediate referral to specialized companies:
- 21 Lift Stations: Construction to enhance wastewater management.
- Grand Diwaniyah Sewerage Project: Completion of the second phase, a critical upgrade for the province’s sanitation system.
