IFP (International Fairs and Promotions) and the Federation of Arab Engineers announced throughout a dedicated press conference held at the headquarters of the Order of Engineers in Beirut, the launch of the first edition of the “Reconstruction of the destroyed cities and restoration of archeological sites affected by military actions in Iraq and Syria – Conference”
The conference will be held on 9 and 10 October 2018 at the Baghdad International Fair Ground, in concurrence with the 2nd edition of Project Iraq and Energy Iraq Exhibitions 2018 with extensive international participation. The exhibition covers the requirements of Iraq’s construction market including construction material and technology, electricity and power among others. The exhibition will attract industry specialists including engineers, architects, contractors, vendors, investors as well as government officials.
Dr. Adel Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Engineers, emphasized the importance of this conference and the Federation’s full support of it, he also thanked all attendees and participants among which was Dr. Ghayath Al Koutayni, Head of the Syrian Order of Engineers.
On the other hand, Eng. Jad Tabet, Head of the Beirut Order of Engineers, stressed his organization’s willingness to play an effective role in this conference.
On his part, Mr. Albert Aoun, Chairman of IFP Group, highlighted the importance of the partnership with the Federation of Arab Engineers for this event, given that the federation is a professional organization with a deep-rooted history in boosting the engineering profession in the Arab world, preserving Arab engineering heritage and its impact on the advancement of civilization.
Mr. Aoun thanked the Federation of Arab Engineers for their strategic patronage of this important conference, and the Beirut Order of engineers for hosting the press conference and their continuous support, as well as all the members of the press for their efforts in covering the company’s activities.
During the press conference, IFP and the Federation of Arab Engineers signed an agreement to organize the “Reconstruction of the destroyed cities and restoration of archeological sites affected by military actions in Iraq and Syria – Conference”.
Eng. Mohammed Saeed Fatha, Secretary of the Federation of Arab Engineers, praised the cooperation between the two parties that is based on mutual trust; especially that IFP belongs to “IFP Group” which has 36 years of experience, and has organized more than 500 local and international exhibitions and conferences.
