Iraq Medicare 2013, The 4th International Healthcare Exhibition & Conference Serving Iraq held from 27-29 May 2013 at the Erbil International Fair Ground attracts a significant number of health officials and decision-makers from Kurdistan region, the Iraqi central government and neighboring countries. The show is organized by IFP Iraq, a member of IFP Group.
Billions of USD will be spent to improve Iraq’s health system and institutions, which have been battered by years of underinvestment and neglect. With a substantial increase in central government budgets, the spotlight has turned on the Iraqi healthcare system. Almost $6 billion is allocated for healthcare as foreign investment seeks to rebuild what was once a system with modern facilities.
The modernization of the healthcare sector has become a top priority for the Iraqi government and the KRG. The current healthcare system requires modernization of equipment, training and education for personnel, and enhancing the overall standard of care. Most current equipment is either outdated or inadequate. Plans are now underway for complete modernization, including the expansion of healthcare facilities, investment in high quality equipment, a large procurement program and advances in facility management and human resource development. The drive to rebuild and re-equip hospitals, clinics and other core health infrastructure actually provides strong opportunities and potentially large contracts for healthcare firms. From a pharmaceuticals perspective, as a result of strong epidemiological and demographic factors, it is expected that this sector will create substantial investment opportunities for multinational pharmaceuticals and healthcare firms.
Iraq Medicare 2013 is organized to serve these needs of Iraq and the Kurdish region by providing healthcare and trade professionals a comprehensive range of the latest products and services from around the world. It is designed to help companies reach buyers and decisions-makers from the whole of Iraq in a professional setting. Erbil has taken the center stage and is now considered the Northern Gateway to Iraq and is the perfect choice for an exhibition and conference targeting the whole Iraqi Market.
On the other hand, Iraq Medicare Conference 2013 is designed to provide a forum, concurrent with Iraq Medicare 2013 Exhibition, for the Iraqi healthcare professionals and service providers to catch up with the latest advances in the industry, and provide a meeting place for the international major players in all areas of the healthcare industry to interact with Iraq’s healthcare professionals and identify their needs, plans and requirements, and showcase their capabilities, product highlights and latest medical advancements.
The organizers are working closely with public and private healthcare organizations in Iraq, to promote the Exhibition and Conference to hospital managers, medical doctors, private clinics, public sector health officials, medical associations and syndicates, medical equipment distributors, pharmaceutical trading companies, and medical schools across Iraq.
From 2:00 – 8:00 pm, 27-29 May 2013, Iraq Medicare will set high standards in the industry, attracting exhibitors, visitors and delegates from all over the world. Iraq Medicare 2013 will emerge as the biggest and most important healthcare meeting in Iraq.
