The Iraqi Automobile Company's director general disclosed that negotiations are underway with the Japanese company Nissan to sign a partnership contract to manufacture Nissan cars and the possibilities of founding a complete car factory.
Engineer Adnan Ahmed Razeen also added that other talks are ongoing with Kia Motors.
In a statement by the Industry Ministry, received by Aswat al-Iraq, Razeen declared that it is expected to have the factory within the coming three years.
He added that the company produces 10 kinds of vehicles, but has the intention to limit the production to two or three types that most wanted by the public.
Razeen continued to say that the company's sales reach to 5000-6000 cars monthly from different types.
