The Iraqi Cement Company, under the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, produced 10.2 million tonnes of cement in 2024, reflecting a 7% increase from 2023, according to Iraq’s Ministry of Industry.
General Manager Aqeel Abdul Ali Raddam credited the growth to effective strategies that enhanced productivity and efficiency, aligning with rising domestic demand. The company’s plants across the southern, northern, and central provinces played a key role in this achievement.
Plans are underway to further increase production and modernize cement factories, strengthening Iraq’s industrial sector and supporting nationwide reconstruction and construction efforts.
