Parliament Oil and Energy member MP Suzan al-Saad disclosed that the coming year's budget will reach 113 trillion Iraqi dinars ($97 billion).
She insisted that the final accounts of 2012 should be presented and notations made on how it was spent.
Saad pointed out that the parliament "does not know how the previous governmental budget were spent," insisting that the final accounts of each year should be presented on time.
"2012's budget was an explosive one, but we do not have concrete results," she added.
"The legislative authority should play it is role in auditing the expenditure and solve any obstacle that might face them," she concluded.
