Betting on investment opportunities, Iraq’s Ministry of Industry and Minerals takes part in Erbil International Fair 2013 held from 23rd to 26th of September.
“The Ministry participates in this fair where the gathering of 550 companies from more than 20 countries create networking opportunities for the private sector and help promoting Iraqi products in addition to strengthening our cooperation with companies operating in the Kurdistan Region,” said the Ministry in a statement. “Another objective is attracting foreign investors by showing them the existing opportunities in the Iraqi market,” added the statement.
Yet by active participation at EIF 2013, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals aim at promoting Iraqi national products and underlying the capabilities and capacities of the country in manufacturing non-oil products and executing construction projects while demonstrating investment opportunities and announcing future plans.
Companies participating within the Ministry’s stand at the show are mainly involved in engineering, food, pharmaceutical and chemical, textile and construction industries.
“The Erbil International Fair creates significant networking opportunity for Iraqi, Arab and international companies to exchange expertise and create cooperation between them,” concludes the statement.
