A Kuwaiti charity organization has launched three schools in the central Iraqi city of Ramadi, about 110km west of the capital, Baghdad.
The schools project entailed the construction of 22 schools in the provinces of Anbar, Diyala, and Saladin, in collaboration with Kuwait Relief Society.
The United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development, was quoted saying, according to Kuwait News Agency.
The chairman of the Iraqi Medical Society, Ahmad Al-Hayti said that the well-equipped schools comprise 16 classes, two administrative offices and a clinic.
In December 2016, Kuwait financed the building of a school, which was also in Ramadi.
The prefabricated-unit school, made of caravans, was part of the Kuwaiti humanitarian campaign in Iraq, We are on your side.
