Kuwait-based Safir Hotels & Resorts has announced its debut in Iraqi Kurdistan with the launch of a 5-star hotel in Erbil.
The management agreement was signed between Hariri Building & Contracting Co. HARCO Offshore, the owning company represented by Chairman Mr. Mostafa Al-Hariri, and Safir International Hotels & Resorts, represented by Vice Chairman and CEO Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Failakawi.
According to a press release, the hotel will feature 95 elegantly designed rooms and suites, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
Mr. Al-Failakawi also revealed plans for additional projects across Iraq, including in the capital, Baghdad.
