Under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Saad Hariri, Lebanon’s first Sustainable Digital Ecosystem Summit (SDE Summit) is set to take place from 22 to 24 January 2019 at the MEA Training & Conferences Center in Beirut.
Organized by IFP Group (International Fairs and Promotions), the Sustainable Digital Ecosystem Summit, will bring together leading organizations and experts, top-tier information executives, ICT Directors, Digital Transformation Experts from the whole sustainable Digital Ecosystem value chain, to interact and engage in high-level content and discussions on current trends and developments disrupting the digital ecosystem and how this will impact their business digital strategy and competitiveness going forward.
The SDE Summit offers a rich combination of presentations, panel discussions, workshops (Capacity Cells), and Round Tables to maximize knowledge sharing and competency building.
The Summit’s high-caliber advisory board comprises H.E. MP Sheikh Nadim Gemayel; Chairman of the ICT Committee in the Lebanese Parliament, H.E. MP Nicolas Sehnaoui; Former Minister of Telecom and Chairman of UK-Lebanon Tech Hub, Dr. Fouad Mrad; Senior Program Manager of Frontier Technologies at ESCWA, and Dr. Ayman Kayssi; Associate Dean at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, AUB.
The SDE Summit will host 41 speakers who are experts in their fields, bringing much depth and know-how to the table, while discussing technological disruption from various angles.
The Summit’s first day sheds light on the rising opportunities in Lebanon: The fourth industrial revolution generation, with presentations and panel discussions. The second day held under the theme: Driving innovation and efficiency with the latest emerging technologies, combines presentations, panel discussions, 5-minute fire-talks, and several workshops under the Capacity Cells Program.
The first capacity cell tackles Learning Technology in Organizational Strategy and Generation Z – by Kashida, the second capacity cell explores How can Cyber Risk Insurance help protect your business from cybercrime and data breaches and help you mitigate risk exposure – by North Assurance, and the third presents Spot on Empathy in Design Thinking – by IdeatoLife.
The summit’s third day held under the theme: Tomorrow starts today – Building next generation smart cities and developing the digital enterprise of tomorrow, brings forward several panel discussions along with two Side Coaching Roundtables.
The first Coaching Roundtable highlights Trendy Employability Skills in the job market – by Loyac, and the second covers Disruptive Marketing – by Entreprenergy.
With a top-notch advisory board and experts in various disciplines within digital transformation, the SDE Summit aims to guide professionals to adopt frontier technologies, address the regulatory reforms required for economic flourishing, and share best international practices.
