More investment flows into ocean monitoring and data acquisition technologies due to increasing marine and coastal zone exploitation activities, and marine environment protection programs. GCC regulations are underway, with international organizations encouraging adoption of certain standards in marine data management.
Organized by ACM (Advanced Conferences & Meetings), Marine Data Infrastructure GCC taking place on 15-16 February 2016 in Dubai, is the first GCC wide conference to address the challenges of marine data collection and discuss its technology implementation. Attended by GCC government representatives, operators from the region’s offshore oil & gas, ports, marine construction and engineering, maritime security and navy, marine leisure and marine science industries as well as technology providers will give the opportunity for buyers and suppliers to do business in one location.
