Oman’s Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) has opened a tender for developing the new “Al Mudhaibi Industrial City” in North A’Sharqiyah Governorate. Targeting specialized companies in Oman and Saudi Arabia, the tender encourages Omani-Saudi partnerships to implement the infrastructure’s first phase across 2.5 million square meters. This phase includes essential infrastructure such as road networks, water and sewage systems, lighting, security fencing, and surveillance installations.
The industrial complex will feature administrative offices, parking, truck access routes, and a dedicated building for city management. Additionally, the “Masar Service Centre” will function as a one-stop shop for investors. Governor Mahmoud Yahya Al Dhuhli emphasized that the city will support mining, food, and tourism industries by leveraging local resources, while Wali Sheikh Saud Mohammed Al Hinai highlighted investment incentives like tax exemptions, renewable 30-year leases, and 100% foreign ownership options for non-Omani investors.
