Oman’s Ministry of Education recently held a meeting to expedite the construction of 22 new schools under the 10th Five-Year Plan. Chaired by H.E. Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, the session focused on accelerating progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring the projects meet their targeted deadlines.
Key discussions emphasized streamlining construction processes to improve efficiency and meet the rising demand for modern educational facilities. H.E. Dr. Said bin Ahmed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, and Badr bin Salem al Maamari, Secretary-General of the Tender Board, also participated in the meeting.
Ministry officials, including undersecretaries, directors-general, and specialists, provided updates on the status of the projects, reviewed completion rates, and proposed solutions to mitigate potential delays.
